By His own nature and character, God is generous, and we are His image bearers. Therefore, we are called to reflect His characteristics. Because of the fall, we became selfish, thinking only of taking care of ourselves and our own comfort. But because of the redemption of Christ, the image of God has been restored, and it restores us back to the original characteristics of Him being loving, gracious, kind and generous. As stewards, we have the responsibility to live the image of God in our world and reflect the generosity that comes from Him. The joy of life comes when we reflect His image.
