In a world full of sin and suffering, it’s not difficult to get lost amid the voices competing for your indulgence. But they don’t satisfy, and they never will. For some of us, the tendency is to get lost in trying to attain some form of earthly perfection, believing that our acceptance by God and His church is to be found in our performance. But justification before God and acceptance within the church isn’t based upon your performance; it’s based upon a person, Jesus. And for the person seeking satisfaction or to the person seeking sinless perfection, Jesus is the ultimate remedy and rest.
