We’ve learned a lot in this series, but if that knowledge never makes it from our heads to our hearts, we’ve missed it. So many of us have become spectators watching ministry happen, but that is not healthy. Instead of the paradigm of coming to church to receive, we need to gather together to get in the game, to serve and give, and really pursue God. We need to become people of substance because healthy things grow. So we’re going to do things differently. We are going to get back to the basics of what it means to be a faith community that’s in pursuit of Jesus, living out a dangerous faith, an unpredictable faith, a faith that’s obedient regardless of where He leads us. Each of us has the responsibility to consider deeply, what is God’s call on our life? And are we willing to be obedient? We’re all servants of the King, and we need to recognize the privilege we have to be a part of God’s kingdom and be obedient to where He is calling us.
