Only three weeks after God's people had returned to work on the temple, another enemy attacked them and halted their progress of rebuilding, only this time the enemy wasn't an external one, but an internal one: discouragement. Convinced that the present work God called them to would never be as good as the one they had seen in the past, the people grew weary and quit. So for a second time, the prophet Haggai is called in by God to bring a much-needed message of encouragement that would help God's people find hope and return to work. In this message, we'll look at how discouragement plays out in our own lives and learn about the encouragement the Lord has for us that will help us overcome and return to the kingdom work He has called us to do.
