God desires unity within His church, not division. We tend to divide over our preferences for certain people, philosophies or programs. Paul explains to the Corinthians that they should focus on the unity of the church together, because we all come to the cross on equal ground. We all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. But the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is powerful enough to save us all and dissipate our divisions.
