Hello from across the pond! The Ukraine Team made it safely to England. We are half through our layover here in Heathrow and the team is definitely showing signs of weariness from travel. Jet Lag is one of those things you just have to push through! It has been fun to listen to the conversations that are happening as the team looks forward to caring for the children we will soon meet.
Tomorrow will come early again as we head back to the airport to catch our final four hour flight to Kiev, Ukraine. From there we will meet up with the Hope For Orphans staff and then prepare to head to where the children are.
Remember, no news is good news while we are at the orphanage for 10 days. We will definitely post a blog or two of we can find internet access... but we have heard it can be hard to access in the area we will be in. If we cannot post anything while we are there, we will post our updates as soon as we can.
