Hey, it’s Lili!
We’ve officially landed in Guangzhou, China, and are all extremely tired. That was my first international flight (15 hours), so it was especially long, but even for more experienced members of the group it was tiresome.
The airport isn’t as busy as I expected it to be, but the shops compensate with lively Chinese decorations, clothing and gifts. I’m so excited to buy stuff! I plan on adding an authentic kimono to my wardrobe.
The majority of the group ate at a small cafe, predominantly enjoying noodles, rice and dumplings, but I stuck with pizza.
As we prepare for the final flight to Thailand, I am growing more and more excited. I can’t wait to see Chiang Mai and the villages. Thanks for all the prayers and support!
