Since beginning our journey in the Hill Tribes of Thailand we have been able to start many projects with the local Karen people. From hand-making bricks, to concocting mixtures of cement, to leading Vacation Bible School with the students, we have been extraordinarily blessed by these people.
Though we have all tasted a little of each task, the past few days have included Katelyn Richardson, Matt Strmiska, Thomas Patty, and Lauren Lara constructing a bathroom from scratch, Darlene Hanson, the Lady twins, and Megan Jacobsen painting the exterior and interior of the school building, Eric Hanson digging "super highways" to a new fertilizer building, and Sam Freshwater, Eryn Worthing, Shane Wake, Jaime Strmiska, Bryan Feil and I hand-crafting over 150 bricks.
As we conclude our final day in the village tomorrow, we pray we continue to love and live like Christ. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we transition out of the village and back home.
