In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:6
It has been our great honor and privilege over the last five months to walk alongside Tami, Deborah, Corey, Meadow, Taylor, Patrick, Andrew, Jen, Joshua, Angela and Jeremy as we have prepared for the Winter Haiti Exposure Trip. Today we depart from Fresno with anticipation for the path that has been set before us on this journey. Tomorrow we will land in Port au Prince and drive to Pignon, which will serve as our base of operations for our time there. Over the next ten days you will hear from different members of our team sharing their experiences and the things that God is showing them as we pursue deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
We are grateful for the support many of you have given over the last few months, and we hope you feel included in our trip through these posts. We would not have made it here without you, and you are all very much a part of our team. Furthermore, it is our prayer that as you share in our experiences through these upcoming blog posts that you may get a taste of what the Lord is exposing us to with our brothers and sisters in Haiti, and perhaps even feel the call from the Lord to go on an Exposure Trip yourself.
Please pray for our travels over the next day, that we may be a beacon for Jesus to each person we meet, both en route and on the ground, and that our hearts be made receptive to the movement of the Holy Spirit. After all, it is He who is the source of all things, and it is He who paves the way before us. May we all, regardless of locale, walk His straight path before us in His wisdom.
Au revoir,
Ali and Jordan Harris
